GBUK Ltd, one of the UK’s market leaders in enteral consumables, will be showcasing its range of products that have been prepared for the new Enteral ISO directive, at Arab Health 2015.
GBUK Ltd will head to Dubai for Arab Health 2015 where they will be located at Stand Z1G57 in the Za’beel Hall, and will exhibit its products including enteral syringes, nasogastric tubes and dilators – all available with the new connector.
In an effort to improve patient safety, new international design standards for medical device tubing connectors will be released from early 2015 as part of a phased global initiative.
The International Standard (ISO 80369-3) will cover all enteral connectors and the new global enteral feeding device connector designed (named ENFit).
GBUK has already developed its range of products to meet the requirements of the new ISO standard for connectors and ensure its customers are prepared well in advance of the change.

The company will also be showcasing a unique patient proning device called Intoprone, which is used in theatres. The easy to use one piece device eliminates the need to ‘catch’ the patient and also reduces the risk of staff injury. The Intoprone also provides complete control of the patient during turning improving patient safety.
Also being displayed on the GBUK Ltd stand with be a range of open and closed suction catheters, wound drainage, patient moving and handling and vaginal pessaries.
